Photos by: John Mactavish With the season about to heat up, my wife, little dude, and I, took off down south for a week in Duck NC. And true to form, there were no waves to speak of (and rain the last two days). Northeast winds kicked up an awesome swell glassed off perfectly on the Saturday that we had to hit the road back home on. In the extremely rare case, I headed “North” to find really fun waves in Sandbridge. I paddled out to an empty break with a couple of bro’s. We enjoyed trading waves and stories and peeking at our watches to make sure weren’t getting into much trouble from the bosses. It was Mother’s Day weekend after all. John Mactavish, the Kirklands, Evan Micele, Jake Hall and Aidan Petty score a couple fun days of Surf in Sandbridge. Thanks John for capturing the stoke!
