It’s always exciting when we get snow in Virginia Beach.  Everyone with AWD or 4×4 vehicles all but lose their minds, while everyone from up North just rolls their eyes at us.  Our “Blizzard of 2017”  proved to be no different.  With high temps of 20 degrees and a gusting wind chill that made it feel much colder, the number of snowsuits being worn in Virginia Beach was giving Colorado a run for its money.  As cabin fever set in, I thought I was cool by hopping on the fat tire bike for a lap around the neighborhood in the very windy and freezing conditions…only fell once.

Cade, on the other hand, braved the cold and 40mph winds to capture some of the most amazing pictures that I have seen of Little Island Park in Sandbridge.  Enjoy.
