Words by John Streit. Congratulations to Surf & Adventure Co. team rider Evan Micele, who was recently named to the Eastern Surfing Association All-Star Team! Coming on the heels of his newfound affiliation with SUPERbrand Surfboards and apparel, the accolades continue to accumulate for the 16-year-old homeschooler from Virginia Beach, who is as dedicated to the sport of surfing as anyone in our region. Whether it’s longboard, shortboard, throwing on the jersey and chasing scores or scoring swell during freesurf sessions, you can bet that Evan does it all with ton of stoke and a huge smile on his face.
