That’s just what the crew and participants of our latest Women’s False Cape Retreat had to do as they sat in their vehicles amid a heavy monsoon with less than 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the tram to False Cape from Little Island Park on Saturday, July 13. With the running of the trip hanging in the balance as the raindrops fell; the downpour miraculously halted and the sun began to shine, creating a rainbow that crowned Back Bay to the west: Mother Nature’s sign that another classic day of adventure awaited the group of 24 women. Sure enough; fun surf and partly sunny skies graced the isolated stretch of beach as surf sessions, yoga poses and relaxing massages created the good vibes that our False Cape retreats deliver time and time again. Big thanks to the Wahine Surf Club for providing the stoke and Eddie Compo of The Wildlyfe for capturing these iconic images of our signature outdoor adventure.
