Rob on the Disruptor in Sandbridge

Typically we are always on the grind here at Surf and Adventure. But luckily, being less than a minute from Sandbridge allows us to have some surf time during any breaks we can get. Thats exactly what Rob, Surf and Adventure Owner, did today. This not only allowed him to get a nice mental break from a busy day at Surf and Adventure, but allowed him to go out and test our latest updated model of the Surf and Adventure stand-up paddle board, The Disruptor.

The Disruptor is a high performance paddle board designed for East Coast beach breaks. This was achieved by creating more functional volume throughout the tail, allowing you to get on your back foot and not loose any speed. This stand up paddle board was also designed to have control points throughout the mid section of the board, allowing you to crank a full turn without being completely on the tail, which is demonstrated by the photos taken below. This has really opened up the sweet spot on the Disruptor SUP allowing you to go through a speedy turn with high forgiveness and keep you super stoked throughout your session. Rob likes to surf this SUP at 8’6″ x 31″ x 3 15/16″.

Working with Matt Tatum from 40 Toes Foamworks has been great for us, dialing every single shape in that we have produced. Checkout some of the pictures that I was able to capture during this expression session down in Sandbridge. Wind may have gotten on it, but nothing like a nice surprise swell!
